Refund policy

Unfortunately, Havenhollow cannot process purchase returns or refunds for any reason other than damaged, leaking, or defective bottles. 

Havenhollow is an independent, non IFRA-compliant house. My perfumes are mixed-media, with natural botanical extracts and nature-derived materials (absolutes, essential oils, sco2 extracts, tinctures, resins, musks, natural isolates, etc..) comprising (on average) between 60% and 85% of the formulas. That remaining percentage is made up of fine aromacompounds of synthetic and semi-synthetic nature.

Safety is always a priority, and IFRA usage+safety recommendations and restrictions are referenced and kept in mind whilst blending, though, in my opinion, many of these restrictions stifle the potential that so many beautiful botanical materials possess, and are often only in place because perhaps 2 in 1000 people had a minor dermal reaction when an undiluted material was bandaged directly on skin for 24 hours.

It is always recommended to do a "patch test" when first applying ANY perfume, to make sure you are not among the very small percentage of people who are sensitive to various materials. A small amount of perfume applied to a less sensitive area, like the topside of the wrist or arm. I test all my perfumes on my own skin, and wear them regularly. I also have several people who act as my "guinea pigs" - my testers.
