About Havenhollow...
Havenhollow is an independent perfume house, through which I hand-craft unique, evocative, and left-of-the-dial perfume extraits - my efforts to capture and bottle deeply personal, transportive, and nostalgic imagery, places, and scented memories, interpreting them within the olfactory realm.
I am the sole proprietor and perfumer, and every one of my offerings are compounded using fine raw materials, with heavy emphasis on some of the most unique and elusive botanical absolutes, oils, tinctures, and natural material extracts I can scour the globe for.
I find inspiration in the idyllic, pastoral, and rustic countryside, the agrestic imagery and magical sense of wonder and awe that autumn fills the air with. The New England Octobers I grew up with, through the eyes of a child. The shrouded depths of coniferous forests, glistening snow-draped evergreens, and sappy fingers weaving wreaths from fragrant fir boughs. The joy of Christmas, the crackle of hearths. From the stone castles atop rolling lochside hills of green, to the desert flats and painted canyons I spent my adolescence in, to my pilgrimage to California, and my rebellious wanderlust excursions up and down the Pacific Coast, from The Redwoods to Rainier, many times over.
These are the nostalgia-soaked portraits I'm so driven to capture, and translate to the world of perfume, in hope that someone, somewhere out there - maybe even you, can share a glimpse into my past, and a bond over the vivid olfactive portraits that perfume my imagination.
A haven in a hollow, nestled deep within the faraway reaches of warm nostalgia and rose-tinted wonder. And should you go searching, you just may find your own cozy little Havenhollow.
